Birthday Wish
When a Birthday
comes along
we cheer,we smile,
and sing a song
When I think of you
my smile errupts
my heart just flutters
with thoughts of
days we have spent

I took a deep apricot coloured card and added a piece of white card then a piece of pale lavender glitter card.
I printed the sheet onto photo paper and applied the base to the card using silicone glue.
I used the shaped envelope flap topper to make an insert template. One I made from very thin card the other I made from vellum. Both where cut slightly smaller than the template.
I stuck the shaped piece to one side of the card template and stuck this down on the card using doublesided tape before inserting the vellum insert complete with my secret message.
I then used a bone folder to give the secret message flap a good crease so it would lay fairly flat before adding the orchid flowers to finish.
