Kingfisher in Watercolour
This design is from a watercolour painting using texture effect washes of a kingfisher sitting on a branch. I have set it in a bracket frame with inticate flourish embellishments on a jewelled tone metallic background. There are two colour versions as I couldn't decide which I preferred!
Touches of glitter glue on the embellishments really makes this design zing and you can print extra copies if you want to decoupage or pyramage the design.
A 'neutral' theme ideal for father, brother, son, etc.

I printed three copies of this onto matte photo paper because I like the depth of colour it gives. I mounted one onto a black A5 card and added gold borders around it.
Then I cut one out around the shaped frame and the other one around the lovely bird and branch. I added these using sticky pads and finished off with a simple gold peel off greeting.
