Oh , Christmas Tree

This is a beautiful traditional scene for a Christmas greeting card. I printed this quick and easy design twice onto matte white card as I wanted to use the outer frame as the main backing sheet and the white outer edged frame as the raised second layer.

The main card is an ivory card cut at 30 x 15cm and scored and folded before I attached the matte white 13cm square backing sheet using D.S. tape.

I then added the chain look gold glitter peel off strip along the edges before attaching the main image using D.S. tape.

The next and top image is attached using padded D.S. tape, and I have changed the sentiment attaching it using D.S. tiny padded squares.

I have made a gift card in the same way using the 2 images of the smaller version of the main print.

I intend to find a print of the Christmas carol, Oh Christmas tree, and use it as part of the insert.

I will make this card many more times each time using a different coloured main card. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
