Christmas Quick Cards 5
A lovely Christmas Quick card to make and give with The Christmas Candle has 3 greeting tags and a blank one

Ceredwyn has offered another delightful quick and easy Christmas cards for purchase and I have made 2 cards today as I was able to print the sheet supplied to fit 2 images at 18x13cm on the one 120gsm white A4 Card.
On the first greeting card I have used silver peel off fine lines, a natural ivory shade of lace, a green satin 5cm wide ribbon, a tiny green bow made from the same ribbon, 3 backing sheets, and D.S. tape to attach all the elements together and finished the candle flame and candle top with silver glitter glue.
The main ivory 28x 14cm card is scored and folded.
The satin finished 13x12cm silver backing sheet, the green 12x11.5cm Christmas lace effect, cup814313_79993, a design by Clare Walker, backing sheet, which I have changed to now be bright green, and a matching 11x10.5cm green backing sheet, I have matted together before attaching the lace then the ribbon over the top 6cm down from the top edge and securing the tails at the back using red power tape.
This completed topper I attached to the card front. I then attached the bow and the sentiment. I used the supplied decoupage candle image to attach using padded D.S. tape and thickened white glue.
To complete the insert, I used 2 copies of the green, Christmas lace effect and attached a verse I have copied from the free verse Christmas friends section and used a silver lacy peel off as an embellishment.
I added the sentiment to the left hand side. The second card is trimmed with patterned gold peel offs, the main white 14cm square card front has the edges defined with a green pen.
The 2 backing sheets are matted directly onto the card front using D.S. tape.
The 12.5cm square green and the 11.5cm square satin finished silver and the main image form the topper for the card front.
The decoupage candle I have attached using D.S. padded tape and used gold glitter glue on the flame, and attached the small red bow using red power tape.
I used the 2 blank sentiment shapes to add gold peel off sentiment words.
The insert is treated much the same as the first card and to complete the right hand side I used a 10.5cm square of light green, attached the printed verse using D.S. tape and used the gold peel off strips to give the appearance of a border.
I used the 2 bows supplied as embellishments. These 2 cards were so easy and quick to make and have such sentimental and universal appeal. I will use this design many times. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
