Sweet Treats Three Square Quick Card

A sweet female card designed by Michelle Johnson, most suitable card for all age groups and for any occasion. A very easy step by step process, and very easy to follow. As I made 2 cards, for the first one, I used 280gsm gloss card to print the sheet provided. I cut out all the elements. and mounted each of them, including the topper, onto the same weight scrap card. I used padded double sided squares to mount each of the elements in turn. I used 2 backing sheets, a deep, moss green, and a bright hot pink which I matted onto a card the exact same shade as the topper main colour.

For the second card I printed off the sheet, as above, and cut out all of the elements..

I kept the topper, as the backing for the step by step, I then followed. First I took the square elements, and cut them out as 5 pieces. As this left 2 of them with the corners missing, I mounted all of these 5 squares onto a white backing sheet to make each one a full square. I used a silver edged, aqua ribbon 0.5 cm wide to attach to the front of the card, over the area where the main middle left hand side square is situated. I left the tails loose, to wrap over, and around to the back of the backing sheets, once I had completed attaching the backing sheets. I made 2 backing sheets the moss green card is 13 x 9 cm and edged in the same shade of green ink pen. The pink backing sheet is, 13.5 x 9.5cm. These are both attached to one another and to the main topper with the ribbon hanging loose using double sided tape. After I wrapped and attached the ribbon to the back of the pink backing sheet, I used the same tape to matt them to the main card, which was made from a silver, green, textured card 20 x 14.25cm. I then used padded tiny squares, to mount the top and bottom squares, and the three paper bows. I used double sided padded tape to attach the 2 central left squares together and in turn onto the card.

A most serviceable, and useful card, to have on hand, to use as a gift card with no sentiment, or to attach by the bow I have added, or to use a peel off sentiment coloured with an alcohol pen to match the shades of aqua, and silver in the body of the design, to indicate the sentiment you want to convey.
