Fantastic Fuchsia! Hexagonal Patchoupage
A startling fuchsia design in purple, pink and green tones with a hexagonal patchoupage layer which is quick and easy to add as one single piece. There is a birthday version of this card at cup272241_994, but this one was specially requested so that any greeting can be added.
Patchoupage - a shortened form of patchwork decoupage. Each card sheet has a card front and a patchwork version of it. The patches come in various shapes and sizes: squares, rectangles, hexagons etc. Most are just one layer, but some have a double layer.

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and decoupaged the hexagons with foam pads. I layered it onto pink card with decorative punched edges, then matted it onto a blue square card base.
I used pink peel-off stickers for the border and gold German scrap down either side. Finally I added gold faux gems either side of the image. The colours in this design are stunning, the assembly is easy and the final effect is of a lovely card for any occasion.
