Small Round Beads #10Completed by CARDS BY HILDA
I made this unusual bookmark, Which will come in very useful. It was fun and unusual making these beads, which I printed onto 100 gsm paper and made them starting with the thin end around and cocktail stick and adding a few dots of pva glue every inch of so along the strip finishing with plenty of glue on the wider end to finish. This dries clear and gives the beads a more solid finish. When they were dry I threaded them onto a thick multi coloured thread knotting the end and putting a blob of glue to keep the knot from unravelling. Threading 3 small coloured pearl beads then a paper bead alternating , I continued until all 10 paper beads were used, I left a long tail of thread (about 4") the tied another knot and sealed it with glue.
I divided the beads and pearl beads into two sections leaving the bare excess thread in the middle.
The butterfly bookmark by Karen Wyeth I printed twice on card as A6 size and cut out and glued back to back, folding the middle thread in half and gluing firmly in place sandwiched between the two layers of bookmark.
