Printed on matte card, used foam squares to add the decoupage some glitter paint to give some highlights then printed a matching blank insert and envelope to finish.

This is a delightfully easy male oriented design card which will suit many occasions. I have made a birthday card12x12cm (4 ¾”) fronted card using a cream 2gsm cut at 24x12cm (9 ½” x4 ¾”) to score and fold before attaching the topper.

I printed the sheet provided onto satin finished 170gsm white card and cut out all the elements. Each of these I then reversed to trace onto the same weight white card and used my adhesive roller to attach these to make each of the elements firm.

I set these aside while I cut out and attached the white swirl green print 11cm( (4 ¼”) square backing sheet to the card front using D.S. tape.

I used a lime green permanent pen to define the edges. The next backing sheet is a 170gsm green card cut at 10.5cm (4 & 1/8”).

I attached the main image from the sheet onto white card and trimmed the edges leaving a tiny 2mm white edge on all 4 sides.

I used D.S. tape to attach this section onto the plain green backing sheet. I then used padded D.S. tape to attach this to the card topper. The final element, I attached using padded D.S. tape.

The green backing sheet draws the viewer to the green growth on the tunnel exit and so to the main image of the old steam train making its' grand exit from the tunnel.

To complete the insert, I have used 2 copies of the insert to print onto white silver embossed heavy 200gsm card.

I have made a photo copy of this which has then copied the background as black which I have reserved for a future male card as an insert.
