I reduced the size of the sheets just slightly to fit 8 1/2"x11" matte photo paper. Scored and folded the template (base card) as directed, then used double-sided tape to attach the 3 front panels to the base card.
Used dst to add the birthday insert panel and the blank insert panel to the card back and spray adhesive to add die-cut water weeds that I'd cut out of tan paper.
Added sentiments with foam pads, then built the duck/rock strip layers, beginning with the template layer, using dst (silicone gel for dimensional parts), making sure the strip folded flat before attaching it to the card front with dst as pictured.
This is one of my favorite cards ever--such a great design with some serious Wow factor.

I was unsure at the time how to make the card and didn't use the large portion of the template, but somehow, I still ended up with a card I love :-) I separated the duck strip from the large 3-panel card on the sheet where the ducks were connected to the panels above them.
This meant I had to cut up into the main card, but it was covered in a later step.
Scored and folded as pictured, then used thin foam pads to attach the extra 3 large panels to the base card. making sure at all stages that the card would fold flat, trimming if necessary.
