Aperture-square Table-card Mini Kit Pool
You'll need an 8x8 card blank for this design. There's a picture tutorial included in the kit.
There are 2 sheets - 1 that contains the card front and some decoupage layers and another that has the card centre (which can also double as a back for your completed item) and the table-top elements. The centre of the card folds down to create a table which slots through the slit on the card inner. The table-top elements stand up from the table to be visible through the aperture.
These designs look complicated but are easy to make and are very effective once complete.
This design has a pool theme. The table-top elements can be formed to read:18, 21 or 30 for special birthdays or you can arrange them randomly for a general birthday. Great for the pool ace.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I cut around three sides of the opening on the front part of the design as instructed. I attached the front of the design to an 8x8 card landscape.
I pulled down the opening on the front of the design and cut out the white area of the card.
I then attached the insert to the inside of the card being careful to line the square with the opening on the front.
I then cut the slit along the bottom of the square on the insert.
This allows the panel from the front of the card to slip through the slit on the insert making the table.
I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I pulled the table out of the insert and made two slits to hold the pool balls. I threaded them through the slits and secured on the underside using strong double sided tape.
I then slid the table back through the insert to create the finished card. I cut away the remaining white areas of the card as instructed. Great concept and good fun to make.
Printed onto 190gsm matte photo card then added to front & inside back of an 8 x 8 white card using DST.
Cut around 3 sides of the front square & below the square on the inside back.
Cut slots into the created table & added the table elements at different levels to give dimension. Assembled decoupage using 2mm foam pads. Finished by placing the "table" through the slot on the back part. A great card & so easy to make.
