I mounted onto an 8 x 8 white scalloped edge card and decoupaged all the pieces using sticky pads. I decoupaged the dress parts at the hem only, gluing down flat at the waist for a natural look.
I added a red spotty bow to the waist and tied a red and black spotty ribbon bow round the spine to finish off this very striking and vibrant design
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look full. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I added a blob of silicone glue under one wing of each butterfly to give more definition.
