I did not cut round the arch part and fold back as instructed as I find it much neater and sturdier to cut out completely, stick the insert to the back so no white shows and then mount over the edge onto a blank card as shown.

I punched the front edge of my card for added effect. I decoupaged using sticky pads and shaped the butterfly wings outwards. I made up the cute little matching box but did not decoupage the butterflies on the box as I wanted to add them both to my card.

The little box is so cute and would be a perfect size for small gifts and sweets to hang on a tree.

I have made a few of this one up now as it is my favourite butterfly
