I cut out the aperture before mounting onto an 8 x 8 cream card. I then cut round the shape of the sesign and cut out the aperture in the card. This is better than cutting out both apertures together and makes a neater edge.

I added the insert using double sided tape at the spine onle, then cut round the back of the card to match the insert.

I decoupaged the front using sticky pads and added some extra flowers. I added the sentiment to the top and a matching ribbon bow just below. This is quick, easy and very effective
