1950's Red & Gold Rose Lady Mini Kit
A pretty lady in a red 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats and black hat, shoes & gloves. She is framed by beautiful red & gold roses.
This stunning mini kit makes an 8 inch square card & includes 2 sheets, one with the card front & 5 matching greeting tags The other has easy to cut out decoupage layers to make a very special card. The deep layers will make the skirt really stand out & you could add a bit of lace or broderie anglaise to make it even more luxurious!
Tip: put sticky tape instead of foam pads at the waist of the skirt to keep it flat & make the bottom of the skirt flare out.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look full. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
printed onto smooth card before cutting all parts out. mounted main image onto scallop edged card blank, then added other elements using foam pads. decorated with a red pearl on the dress and tied red ribbon down left side.
