Fantasy Roses Windmill Card Mini Kit
Card in the shape of an old windmill trimmed with fantasy roses. The sails of the windmill are attached with a brad or paper fastener to make them moveable.
The kit has 4 sheets which include the card front, card back, front and back inserts, decoupage, sentiments and a matching gift card.
There are 5 sentiments, including a blank one for your own message, which attach to the windmill sails. The card back allows it to stand and it folds flat for posting. The finished size is approximately 8" x 8". Instructions are included.

I printed the insert onto 300gsm card and cut it out. I printed the rest of the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I attached the back insert to the inside of the card using strong double sided tape.
I did this before I joined the back and front of the card together. I added the windmill using a brad from my craft box. I then attached the insert for the front of the card using strong double sided tape. The insert hides the brad. The 300gsm card allows the card to stand easily. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
This card is both gorgeous and amazing as the windmill turns. It also comes with a matching gift tag.
I printed the card elements of this kit onto 200gsm photo paper and the insert onto 100gsm paper. I cut out all the pieces and scored the back to attach it to the front which I did using a wet glue.
I then added the sails to the windmill using a large black brad so they would turn and then added a white card strengthening to both pieces of the card.
This also means the back of the brad is hidden from sight. I then added all the decoupage and the 'new home' sentiment using foam pads and the inserts using dst. A striking card which can be used for so many different occasions and is very easy to make.
