I mounted the base onto an 8 x 8 white scalloped edge card and added the layers using thin sticky pads.

I added the top layer using thicker sticky pads. I printed out extra layers and added them in a different layout.

I shaped the buitterfly wings outwards and finished off by adding card candy to the corners
