I printed onto 200 gram smooth card and made up following the very simple instructions. I added the decoupage to the front before I joined the parts together. I punched holes in the required places and threaded lilac ribbon through the fastening.

I made a permanent bow and attached this to the front flap, still using separate ribbon to pull through for opening.

But you could always use a magnetic fastener if desired. This is a very pretty gift envelope and it is the best I have ever seen. The ample decoupage on the front just makes it that bit more special
