I made this into a (gatefold easel) card and made my main easel card out of co-ordinating blue card. I cut the main sheet into 3 sections and mounted each section onto white card that I had scored at each side to form my gatefold.

I mounted the 2 side trellises separate to the centre part so that they folded inwards. I added another trellis to both fronts so that when the gatefold was closed the card would still look good.

I added the insert to the base and added the steering wheel as the stopper. I decoupaged all the pieces using sticky pads and added my chosen sentiment.

This is just a little different, and it is still a large DL card in size, but if you want a smaller card you could just mount the actual gatefold part onto an A5 card as the sides will close to fit inside a C5 envelope
