I have included an insert which reads Happy Birthday, Mummy and one without any wording for your own modification.
Alternatively, you could put a message in the extra message panel provided and adhere to the reverse of the cutaway card front. If you use foam pads, the cutaway sections will still have depth. Or you could adhere the panel to the back of the card.
Finished card measures 5.5 inches square and fits a standard 6 inch envelope.

I printed the insert onto 120gsm paper and the rest onto 200gsm photo paper and scored, as necessary, before cutting out.
I folded the base card and added the insert using dst and the decoupage and sentiment using foam pads.
A gorgeous card that is very easy to make and sure to be loved.
