Steam Locomotive Decoupage Shaped Easel Card Kit
This unusual shaped card would be perfect for any train fans or steam enthusiasts in your life. It is a multi-use card which comes with 19 sentiment panels (10 train themed and 9 male themed) plus a blank one so that you can also devise your own. An information panel is also included that can be added to the back of your card which gives a brief history of the locomotive used in the kit (lovingly researched by my railwayman husband!)
This card comes with it?s own masculine envelope with a slightly grungy feel, though it is also sized to fit a standard DL sized (approx 8.5x4.25 inch) envelope if you don?t want to make the matching envelope. Step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains SEVEN sheets:
- a sheet with the shaped easel base (with blank greetings panel); the easel stop panel; a sentiment panel for the stop (Hope your day is right on track!); and the history panel for the back of your card (if you want to use it);
- a sheet with the locomotive shaped easel top panel; the top panel decoupage layers; and a blank sentiment panel
- an alternative sentiments sheet with nine more train themed sentiment panels to choose from for the easel stop (It?s your Birthday stop for a blow!; I?m chuffed to be your wife!; I?m chuffed you?re my Dad!; I?m chuffed you?re my friend!; I want to express my feelings for you; I want to be with you until the end of the line; You drive me loco!; I want to buffer up with you; Hope you?re back on track again very soon)
- a second alternative sentiments sheet with nine male themed sentiment panels to choose from for the stop (Happy Birthday Dad/Brother/Son/Uncle; Happy Father?s Day; To my Step Dad on Father?s Day; You?re like a Father/Brother/Son to me)
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a backing paper sheet for you to print onto the reverse side of your easel base sheet and top panel sheet if you want your card to have a pattern on the reverse side of these pieces.
All the sheets are 300dpi high resolution sheets for quality printing.

This is a superb kit!!
I printed the envelope sheets onto heavyweight paper cut out the pieces and assembled it using wet glue and DSST. I printed the card sheets onto 250grm. matte photo paper and cut out the elements. I made up the loco using sticky pads and then added it to the easel base using wet glue. This one is completed with the Happy Birthday Dad caption. You could also choose Happy Birthday Uncle, Bother or Son. Happy Fathers Day, To my Step Dad on Fathers Day,You're like a Father - Brother or Son to me,and Hope you're back on track very soon. I printed onto quality card and cut out all the element cut and assembled as per the easy to follow instructions,Makes a super finished card and will be appreciated by many ,a train I have seen many times at the wonderful Severn Valley Railway.
The easel base and top panel sheets were printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper with the backing paper printed onto the back of these sheets.
The remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets. No additional embellishments have been added.
Adapted the sizing of the easel to fit an A4 sized card. Printed on matte photo paper. Used sticky pads to add layers and finished with silver border stickers. A beautiful card kit for any locomotive enthusiasts.
