Snowy Church Bracket Edge Shadow Box Fold Card Kit
This atmospheric scenic shadow box Christmas card has a bright and chilly feel. Three different inserts are included, two with greetings and one which has been left blank for your own greeting or message.
The finished card folds flat for posting and comes with a co-ordinating envelope though it is also designed to fit a standard 5x7 inch envelope if you only want to make the card. Step by step instructions are included on each of the sheets.
This kit contains NINE sheets to choose from:
- a sheet with the shaped card front base panel
- a sheet with the shaped shadow box panel
- a shaped matching card insert sheet which has been left blank so that you can write your own greeting or message
- a second insert sheet with a greeting (Merry Christmas)
- a final insert sheet with a greeting (Happy Holidays)
- a sheet with the shaped card base back panel
- an envelope front sheet
- an envelope back sheet
- a matching backing paper that you can print onto the reverse side of the card front base panel; card base back panel and shadow box panel if you would like the inside of the card and shadow box to be patterned
All the sheets are 300dpi, high resolution sheets, for quality printing.

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper, the main card panels onto 300gsm card and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out.
I fed the 300gsm card and the 160gsm paper back through the printer to print the backing paper on the reverse.
There are now no white areas visible in the card. I cut, scored and folded the card following the very detailed instructions included with the kit. I cut out the aperture and added Hunkydory Snowfall Foiled Acetate behind. It now looks like it is snowing.
I added two silver glitter gems to hide the buttons as I am not a fan of buttons. This gorgeous card for Christmas comes with a matching envelope.
The card front base panel, shadow box panel and card base back panel were printed onto 250gsm matt photo paper, with the backing paper printed onto the reverse side, while the remaining sheets were printed onto 128gsm matt photo paper.
The card and envelope were then made up as per the instructions included on the sheets. No additional embellishments have been added.
