Double Pop Out Card - Golden Butterflies
This is a double pop out card, which when made up looks like a square tube with three pop outs on two opposite sides and two flat sides. One side has space to write your greeting. It folds flat for posting and comes with a matching envelope. Some cards come with decoupage but every card would benefit from embellishments of some sort. This is the card to really enjoy going mad with your stash on! Think gems, ribbons, feathers!!!
This kit contains:
Card Sheet 1
Card Sheet 2
Decoupage Sheet
Bonus Backing Paper
Envelope Front
Envelope Back
Step by step instructions with photos
Preview sheet with diagram.
With this card I couldn't bear to spoil the delicate design by adding a greetings panel to the second page so I have included a hanging tag instead. The large butterflies can be decoupaged and I have supplied some smaller ones to use where you wish. There is also an extra bonus backing paper included.

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded each half of the card as per instructions. I cut out the horizontal lines on each of the pop outs and folded them again as instructed.
I attached the two sides of the card using strong double sided tape on the tabs. I added the large butterflies using thin foam tape on the body only and then a blob of silicone glue under each wing.
I added the small butterflies to the pop outs using thin foam tape under the one wing leaving the other wing free.
I threaded some ribbon through the holes I punched in the gift tags and attached this to the card also through the holes I punched.
The design also has a matching envelope. I printed the envelope onto 160gsm paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the envelope and assembled it using strong double sided tape. A beautiful card when finished.
