I'd suggest printing the first 5 pages of the PDF on 250gm matte photo paper, and the next 4 on lighter weight matte photo paper, then printing the backing sheet on the reverse of those previous 4.

This will eliminate white showing on the back of the flowers, leafs, etc.

I cut the tabs off the inner birdhouse liner to make it easier to score, fold and construct the house.

I made this one into a treat box (the tutorial tells you how), so I covered the bird's hole and the windows with acetate.

The roof opens on the right side, and I used heavier embellishments on that side of the roof so it stays closed nicely.

There are so many options included with this kit, and you could easily make some cards with the backing paper and leftover embellishments.

Besides glue and tape, the only thing I added from my stash was a feather! SO cute!
