Twist Turn Card - Forbidden City
A twist turn card has a 3D diamond at one end with decoupage and pyramid layers. They come with matching envelopes.
Inside the kit you will get:
the main card base,
pyramid layers, decoupage and an insert,
backing paper,
an envelope,
full step-by-step instructions with diagram and photos.
The finished card measures 5.5 inches by 4 inches so they are cheap to post!
This card has an Oriental theme with wisteria, a Chinese lantern and a fan. There are 3 inserts (one is blank), one is for a birthday and one is for a thank you card. The diamond on this card doesn't have any decoupage but has extra pyramid layers.

I printed the card base of this kit onto 250gsm card, then passed it back through the printer to add the backing sheet.
I printed the decoupage onto photo paper and the envelope onto 160gsm card.
I assembled the card, which is very easy once you get the knack- this is the third or more card of this type that I have bought and I do not now need to look at the instructions.
I added all the decoupage and pyramage using foam pads and added a circle of gold stickles inside the lamp.
I further embellished by making a quilling flower in coordinating colours which I added with a gold gem in the middle. to finish I made up the envelope and this is a card that you can use for so many occasions and when I say they are quick and easy to make- just try one, you will not be disappointed.
