I printed each layer of the design onto white card then fed it back through the printer and printed the backing paper onto the reverse.

I cut these out. I scored and folded each layer.

I printed the images onto good quality photographic paper and cut these out and attached them to each layer using double sided tape.

I then attached each layer inside each other using thin foam tape. I cut out the two lids and assembled them using strong double sided tape. I added the images to the lids using thin foam tape. I then put the smallest lid onto the smallest layer to close.

A small gift could be placed here. The larger lid completes the exploding box. A lovely design and very easy to make.
