Christmas Windows Stand Alone Kit - Country Christmas
The designs in this range are all built around a lovely window setting, with beautiful draped satin roman blinds. The window frame and blind are decoupaged to sit in front of the scene through the window, giving a great 3D effect.
Every kit includes a matching envelope and a full picture tutorial, tho they are really easy to make, with Eazicut edges around frilly bits!. As with most of my kits, they contain lots of decoupage elements, but how much you use is up to you - you can keep it simple if you choose, or pick out elements that appeal to you if you prefer.
This kit is in cool winter shades and features a Christmas stocking and lit candle lantern, in front of a delightful snowy landscape with country house.

I resized to half and printed the design on good quality matte photo paper and followed the very easy instructions for cutting, scoring and folding.
I used glue paste to adhere the front and back together, foam pads to put on the cut out section and for the decoupage.
There is also an envelope included in the kit. By reducing the size, the card fits very easily into a 7 x 5 envelope. Great design,
I printed the card elements onto 200gsm photo paper and the envelope onto 100gsm paper and cut out all the pieces.
I strengthened the back and front with a blue lightweight card.
I attached the two pieces together and added all the decoupage and a sentiment using foam pads and assembled the envelope.
This is yet again another striking card from Valerie. The recipient will feel very special indeed when he/she receives it.
