Twilight Roses & Butterflies Easel Card KitCompleted by Pam Stubley

I printed all the sheets of this kit onto photo paper, except the envelope which I printed onto 160gsm card, a heavier weight than normal as this is one which has depth as well as length and width.

I scored, cut out and folded the easel base and attached the main image. I cut out all the decoupage and added them using foam pads, adding gold stickles to the butterflys body. I added one of the sentiments as the stop and finally assembled the envelope. No further embellishment was necessary as the card has depth, light and dark.

What I particulary liked about this card was the way the pattern matched down the front and onto the base, and also, when you have made up the envelope the pattern also matches up when you seal the envelope.

That is, in my opinion, the standard everyone should seek to attain. It shouts class and will make anyone who receives it feel extra special.
