Forget-me-not Art Deco Easel KitCompleted by Pam Stubley

I printed the easel base onto good quality white card, the front panels and decoupage onto photo paper and the envelope onto 120gsm paper.

I scored, cut out and folded the easel base and its backing.

I affixed the art deco panels using foam tape, then the other decoupage using foam pads. I took each little blue flower and embossed in the middle to make the petals stand up. I added the 'stop' and the butterflies which I embellished with star dust stickles. Finally I assembled the envelope.

It is very fitting that the designer includes the sentiment 'for someone special' as this card tells them that itself.

The timeless elegance of art deco, the opulence of the colour palette and the very apt forget-me- not flowers will all make sure the recipient will not forget this card in a hurry.
