Shadow Box Easel Windows 3D Kit - Christmas Nativity
These kits brings shadow box cards into an easel concept, with additional elements in front of the card to give even more 3D depth and effect.
This range is built around a 'view from a window' idea, allowing the viewer to peep through into another world outside.
As with most of my kits, every one comes with a large assortment of greetings and relationship tiles, making them really versatile and suitable for almost every occasion, such as birthdays, anniversaries, get well wishes, mother's day, father's day, thinking of you, thank you etc.
They are really easy to make, fold flat and every kit includes a simple to follow tutorial, which can also be seen in the forum tutorials section. The completed cards will fit into an A5/C6 envelope.
This is a new design for Christmas 2012, with a view through the window of a sweet vintage crib scene. In front of the window is an arrangement of holly leaves and Christmas roses, set around glowing red candles and ribbons.
Perfect for anyone you want to make feel really special, but can be as simple or as complex to make as you choose.

I printed onto 200 gram smooth card and made up following the very simple instructions. I cut the required slits in the easel base and slotted the front part through taping down at the back.
I added the concertina box using strong double sided tape and decoupaged all the pieces using sticky pads. This is so simple to make but looks really complicated. Folds down completely flat for posting
I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the design as instructed. I cut out the window panes and added acetate behind to give the appearance of glass.
I scored and folded the window box as instructed and attached this to the base design using strong double sided tape.
I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I made the two cuts on the base of the easel where indicated. I threaded the small decoupage panel tab through the front slit and secured underneath using strong double sided tape.
I added glitter to the candle flames and to the centre of the white flowers to enhance this lovely card.
