This is a stunning Christmas easel butterfly kit and nice and easy to make up. I printed the base onto 240 gsm white pearlescent card and the rest onto photo paper. This brings out the richness of the red colours.
I cut out and scored where indicated and then attached the decoupage with 2mm foam mounts. I added some silver gemstones on the butterflies body and put a red and gold ribbon onto the greeting plate with a silver gemstone in the middle.
There is a bit of glare on the picture due to me using gloss paper.
I printed this kit onto 200gsm photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I scored and folded the easel base and attached the main image using a wet glue. I then added the layers also using wet glue on the bodies of the butterflies.
I added the 'stop' and a sentiment. I finished by adding green and red gems and stars. This is, without doubt, one of the more unusual Xmas cards I have ever made but they are beautifully novel, and not difficult to make!
I printed the sheets on this kit on to glossy photo paper. Added the base on to 300 g card with wet glue to give it more stability. Added the wings and sentiment with glue gel and foam pads.
Decorated with clear self adhesive gems.
A lovely card to give to someone special.
Printed onto glossy photo paper 210gsm. Cut out, folded and scored and put together with 3 in 1 glue and foam pads for 3D effect. Finished off with a row of multicoloured gemstones.
