The Rose Collection 12 Backing Papers
A sumptuous collection of 12 backing papers or different colours with beautiful roses on a silk or lace background. Lots of colours making them perfect for many occasions. Would look lovely printed onto vellum or straight onto card to form the base.

Printed out my chosen design, trimmed and cut off a piece just slightly smaller than the front of card base.
This was mounted onto black card with DST, trimmed to leave a narrow border and secured to front of white base card with DST.
I mounted a die-cut 'Scottie' onto a lace doily with foam pads and added a pink satin bow to the Scottie dog and 3 small satin bows down the left hand side of the card.
Very pretty and suitable for various occasions.
I chose the backing paper I wanted to use and printed on to matt photo paper. I trimmed silver pearlescent paper to use as a mount for an 8x8 inch base card, I then trimmed the backing paper to slightly smaller than the mount and attached with DST.
I wrapped some silver ribbon around the mount and backer and then attached it all to the card blank using DST.
I printed my image and cut out; I mounted this on matching silver pearlescent paper which was trimmed to 0.5cm bigger than the image on all sides.
I attached this to the card, slightly off centre, using DST. I finished by attaching a bow, a sentiment and gems.
Gorgeous backing paper - I have used other sheets from this kit to back other cup designs beautifully!
