I used the red backing paper from this kit, printing it on to matt photo paper then cutting and attaching to an 8x8 inch card with DST. I used it as background to cup372614_1483 and I finished by adding glitter to the centre of the snowflakes.
There are some wonderful colour choices and I don't think they need to be restricted to Christmas cards.
