Iris Folding Stained Glass Flower Pattern
this pattern could be used for any occasion. I have attached my card example.

I cut to size a three fold card 6x6" (15mmx15mm). Then, using tracing paper and a pencil I drew around the template, turned the tracing paper over a scribbled onto the back of the outline.
Finally I turned the tracing paper the right way round and positioned it onto the centre panel of the card and redrew around the patterned outline, and I had then transferred the pattern onto the card.
Using a craft knife I cut around the outlines.
Once this was done, making sure the front facing card is facedown I placed the template under the card with the template looking up through the cut out, It's best to secure the card into place with a couple of pieces of magic tape.
I used coloured foil to do the Iris folding doing one colour at a time, folding the strip over to give a sharp edge and securing with Sellotape.
When completed (and while the card is still face down) I glued the left side of the card with pva glue and folded it into position.
The final touches are gold peel off edging and red gem stones.
