this is a fun card to make. Why not make the shape of your card a cracker. You can add a sentiment into the middle, see my attached card example.

I made a dark blue A5 card. I cut the cracker shape out of a silver patterned card and made up the design using strips of coloured paper.
I mounted the oblong design centrally on the card and added peel-offs and poinsettia paper strips to complete the finished card.
