Iris Folding Butterfly Pattern 6
An easy pattern of a cute butterfly which can be suitable for many different occasion cards such as Birthday, Thank You, Get Well Soon, Easter etc.
This pattern doesn't include any difficult folds and can be completed by using different color paper strips or just one, all depends on your taste.
The paper piecing parts you can attach with glue or double-side sticky tape.

I printed this sheet twice onto card, one for the pattern and one as a template. I cut out the template and the paper piecing elements, and traced the design onto the back of a piece of 9.5cm x 15cm black card.
I cut out the wings and used two pinks to iris fold the wings. I cut the paper piecing elements from pink paper, and attached them to the butterfly. I mounted the design onto pink paper, using 2mm foam pads, then onto black card and mounted them onto an A5 card blank.
I used peel offs to finish the design.
