Woven Ribbon Card - Our Wedding Abroad Invitation
I was asked to design this card as a special request from someone who had seen my similar card to send to the bride and groom. You will need to add your own insert with the details of the wedding invitation.
You need to weave ribbon through the apertures and the strip on the right is to fix behind the holes if you want it. Instructions are on the sheet.

I printed this sheet onto photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I carefully cut out the semi-circles and threaded a beautiful blue satin ribbon up and down the card and finished with a bow at the top.
I then added the strip of card to the back of the ribbon area. I then attached the main image directly onto a white base card and added all the decoupage using foam pads.
I added an insert with all the details of the wedding.
This is a great card to use as an invitation to weddings abroad- a trend that seems more and more popular these days.
My special thanks to Sheila for changing her original design to meet my needs.
