ORCHID INSERTS: Two Orchid Inserts, One Blank, One with Verse
This sheet gives you a choice of two orchid inserts, one blank for your own message, one with a birthday verse.
The sheet was designed to match my "Orchids" quick birthday card front (cup884277_79993) but either insert would look great inside any orchid card, or many other floral-themed ones too.
Finally, as with all my designs, this sheet comes with small-scale commercial use. Meaning that you're free to sell anything you physically hand make using this sheet, whether on CUP or anywhere else. Happy making!

I printed the insert design onto an A4 regular white copy paper at the original size, as I needed it to fit this insert into a 15cm x 15cm square card, or in imperial terms 6” x 6” square.
I trimmed the insert at the top and the bottom so that there was a tiny margin of the actual card visible.
I then used a silver metallic pen to define all 4 edges before lining the middle vertical line of both the card and the insert and attaching them together using D.S. tape at both sides of the centre line.
I made a simple knot type bow and added a pink gem to the centre of the bow and a pink gem on the right hand side of the insert.
This is such a perfect match for the card I have made from a Clare Walker design cup884277_79993, Orchids. I love this insert and will be able to use it so many more times.
I often make cards this size, and it makes the card finish have such a professional look. Thank you Clare, I am sending you a huge hug. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
I just wanted to have more cards with Clare's amazing watercolors in my collection. So I decided to try all possible combinations of matching backgrounds, front cards and inserts. I printed the images onto the professional watercolor paper, cut them out and attached to the contrast (or matching) color mats.
I also added some brads, ribbons or other embellishments if it was necessary to complete my card.
