I change the design from jpg to png and removed the background with the magic wand in Photoshop.

Called up a lace frame by Denise Creationz and altered the colour using a colour palette by Marlo Dee Designs, and placed the design by Gordon Fraser into the frame, and printed onto matte photo paper.

Then I painted the artwork using water colours. when it was completely dry, I trimmed the picture to A5 size, and placed it onto a white card to which I had chalked around the edge, picking up the orange, blues and greens in the lace frame.

Sprayed the chalk with hair spray, so that it didn't smudge onto the finished picture. To complete I glued the picture to the card using pva glue. The beautiful artwork is by Gordon Fraser
