Butterfly ScentCompleted by CARDS BY HILDA

I printed this design A5 size onto plain white card twice and painted these two pictures with watercolour paints. On the left I used more feminine colours and using dst. I trimmed the picture and mounted it onto a pink card and used a gold Best wishes sentiment. I put a small amount of glue onto the butterflies wings and added purple glitter to the blue butterflies and gold to the yellow one.

The other card I made slightly different. When the picture was dry I cut around the flower and butterflies. I used an A4 double sided card, pale peach on the front and a darker shade I used for the inside of the card. I cut a small pattern on the top, bottom and side of the card with an edging cutter so that the deeper shade of colour would show through, and glued the separate pieces onto the card. A small amount of gold glitter was added to the butterflies wings.
