Elegant Metallic Greetings Matching Backing PaperCompleted by CARDS BY HILDA

I printed this on matt card and used it as my main card, laid it horizontal and cut off 2" (5cm).

I folded over a 1" fold (white to white) on the right hand side, and made 1/2" cuts into the folded card about 1/4" apart folding over alternate pieces and cutting off the folded bits.

Then folded the left hand side, and did the same again, making sure they match up with the cuts on the right, and folded the card so that the left hand side will reveal the beading of the right side.

I used strong silver metallic thread and attached it with Sellotape to the inside of the right hand fold, and threaded multi coloured pearl beads onto it, and let 2 beads rest into each cut out. I glued each flap into place as I laid the 2 beads in place using pvc glue and used pegs to hold in place. Remembering to keep the thread taunt. Then did the same on the left hand side.

I added silver metallic peel offs to the front and used a piece of the excess card mounted onto silver mirror card, added Best Wishes and glued that above the peel offs.
