I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and scored and folded where indicated. I layered a deep blue paper on the other side of it, but to make it easier next time I will simply print a pattern on the reverse, before I cut it out!

I decoupaged the chess pieces and castle onto the card with foam pads and added two more chess pieces either side of the aperture.

I adhered two sentiments onto the other two sides of the pyramid. For the dangle I used gold thread, attached two large sentiments back to back and weighted them with a charm and faux gem at the bottom.

This makes up into an unusual card for that hard-to-find masculine card niche!
