King & Castle Triangle-dangle
An unusual design for your male friends/husband/partner incorporating a castle and King chess pieces on a fantasy chessboard background. Use the large king as the dangle and one of the sentiments across the top of the front triangle, or use a sentiment as the dangle, or make your own dangle by combining some of the king pieces or a small king on a sentiment. A triangle dangle card is a design folded into a three sided triangular pyramid shape ? with a dangling decoration hanging inside. All on one A4 sheet! There is a variety of design types. Please see full details and pics of finished cards in the tutorial. Your finished card will fit into a standard C5 envelope.

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and scored and folded where indicated. I layered a deep blue paper on the other side of it, but to make it easier next time I will simply print a pattern on the reverse, before I cut it out!
I decoupaged the chess pieces and castle onto the card with foam pads and added two more chess pieces either side of the aperture.
I adhered two sentiments onto the other two sides of the pyramid. For the dangle I used gold thread, attached two large sentiments back to back and weighted them with a charm and faux gem at the bottom.
This makes up into an unusual card for that hard-to-find masculine card niche!
