News & Updates from Andrea Chapman
During my many years working with dogs, it never ceases to surprise me the many ways and means people find to discard their unwanted pets!
My latest foster furbaby was found inside an industrial dustbin on a Supermarket carpark! not only just dumped in the bin but inside a shoe box which was sealed with cellotape!! had it not been for a shop worker taking rubbish to the bins, she would never have been found! 6 weeks old and perfectly healthy, she came to live with me and my big dog Rock, who immediately took on the role of foster dad and playmate, teaching and guiding her through her canine socialising! she accompanied me on my card parties and helped me sell a lot of cards, to raise money and awareness to the plight of unwanted dogs here in Tenerife, which paid for vaccinations and microchip!
I'm happy to say, she is now 12 weeks old, very sociable, funny and cute and will be jetting off to Germany to her new family on the 5th May.
My dog Rock and me will miss her terribly, but I know it will only be a matter of time before I have a new furbaby to care for.
Have a great life Baby Lotta.
