I'v just come back from Christmas shopping
I have bought everything in sight
I grabbed this and that without thinking
Do you think that is sensible or right?

My purse is nearly empty
My legs are sagging and sore
But do you know I'm not finished yet
I still have to do a bit more

No Snow for us
No fires to snuggle up near
No Egg nog and snow fights
We just have our seafood,
Barbeque out the back
Family sitting in the blazing sun
A tinnie in hand and the Kookaburra's
Laughing, An Aussie Christmas is a fun day
Happy Christmas Everyone

Thank God we have Christmas at the end of the year
After a year of drama we can have festive and cheer
To celebrate Jesus on his special day
And everyone else who has a

After the gifts have been opened
After the tree is gone
After the carols have faded

Cut down your tree,
and put up with glee.
Decorate with ornaments and some holly,
then wait for Santa, he is so jolly!

North pole is very busy
as christmas eve is here,
all the elves are busy loading
santas sleigh with festive cheer,
So with a ho ho ho
santas on his way,
got an awful lot to do
he travels all around the world,
leaving gifts for boys {girl} like you.

It's Christmas time
And summers here
The holidays are beaut
So have some fun

for the busy night ahead
Parents watching lovingly

Evening light it's nearly night

Snows glistening white
Across the clouds we soar
Back to our beds
to rest our heads
and dreams of sledging some more.

A tiny village covered in snow
Inside each cottage some mistletoe
Holiday spirit filled with love and laughter
With memories to cherish ever after

I am stocking up for Christmas
Turkey, plum pudding and pies
A Christmas tree and crackers
And gifts that are a surprise

The shops are all aglitter
There are Christmas cards galore
Silver Christmas tree and fairy lights
Lots of presents and so much more

The North Pole is so busy
wrapping gifts of toys,
loading up santa's sleigh
to deliver to all girls and boys

N is for the night Santa pays a visit
O is for the opening of presents he
has left
E is for the excitement seen in the
eyes of children
L is for the love for those missing or
bereft

In the darkest of winter
a light still shines....
May the brightness of Christmas
never leave you,
but guide you into the New Year.

Christmas is the biggest treat,
we always have something sweet.
Hang your stockings with the greatest care,
so very soon we will all be there.
This time of year brings such pleasure,
a day together we can always treasure

What Santa brings for Christmas, I haven't a clue.
I would be happy, spending time with you.
It doesn't matter what's under the tree,
family and friends for the holiday is what I want to see.

as the turkey is put on the table
and your grandad has drunk to much and is looking unstable
