Before printing I added a personalised number to the number plate, Printed onto Crafty Bobs matte paper, used a piece of co-ordinating card for the back panel so no white shows, added the front inside and outside panels to the scored/folded overlap, decoupaged with foam pads, added a few tiny gems to the tree, a spade to the back of the car with a little bird sitting on the handle, to complete this lovely design I added a tasselled cord and lots of glitter to the snow. this stands well on its own, is very sturdy and fits in a standard 8 x 8" envelope.
I printed the design onto good quality white card and cut out all the elements. The directions are clear and concise and written on the design. I scored on the valley fold line and then assembled the base card before adding the decoupage for which I used spongy tape.
As a final touch I daubed PVA (wet glue) to the snowy areas and sprinkled clear glitter on to the card.
Now I can imagine driving to the Christmas tree store and 'bringing home the tree'.
