Butterfly & Swan Lake Diorama Xl Easel Card
This is an amazing card, which I'm sure will delight any recipient. It is static however, traditional easel cards can also be made as well as many more styled cards as there are as usual lots of extra embellishments included.
There are sentiments included - Wedding Day, Congratulations and Love as well as a blank sentiment label.
This would make a lovely Wedding Decoration to put on the Guest Book Table at the reception.
The verse inside is by Romantic Poet Shelley, which is an extract from his poem Love's Philosophy, and reads -
The fountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean,
The winds of heaven mix forever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by law divine
In one another's being mingle;
Why not I with thine?
Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)
Full instructions as well as a lot of tips to make the most of this fabulous card.

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the card as instructed. I attached the easels using double sided tape.
I used wet glue to attached the inside door panels to the gatefold as this gives more time to align them properly.
I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the decoupage to the easels using thin foam tape. I added the leaves using silicone glue. I added the butterflies using thin foam tape and added a blob of silicone glue under the wings to give more definition.
I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I attached the swans to the centre easel using thin foam tape. There are extra swans in the kit and I cut them to form decoupage layers for each swan.
I cut the feathers from the second and third swans and layered them onto the base swan using thin foam tape.
I snipped the feathers to give more definition and added some glitter to enhance. I also added glitter to the roses, the butterflies and the pearls on the design. This is a substantial card and great fun to make. The overall effect is amazing.
I printed this kit onto 200gsm photo paper and cut out all the pieces. I strengthened the back and under base sections using a lightweight pink care.
I assembled the card following the very easy instructions and finished by adding all the decoupage, swans, butterflies etc. using dst, wet glue and foam pads.
A beautiful gift for a variety of occasions.
