Lavender Circle Book Card Kit

This is such a pretty card, striking when finished and has a clear,easy to follow tutorial. I printed the 4 sheets onto smooth card,doubling up the 2 card bases and cut out the pieces.I made up the 4 quarters, folding as in the tutorial and using DST,then attached them using roller glue,the mountain fold in the base and leaving the last side open,for the cover. I attached the elements and backing quarters to the card, glued some flowers partly together then glued over the edge to look like a bouquet when closed. I attached 3 narrow satin ribbons(purple, pistacho,and lavender)to the cover using DST, leaving a length of lilac ribbon to tie and extra pistacho ribbon to the inside edge of the front cover for a second bow(see the insert).I trimmed the cover to fit and glued firmly to the closed book. finally I decorated the card front,added a bit of glitter and tied the two bows. I really enjoyed making this card and I love the colours.
