Description

Welcome to my newest DIY project :) This one was requested a little while back. You can use any fabric you like to create the triangles but for the "string" that holds it all together, I'd suggest either what I have used in this video (it is the same as the ties on an apron- you can find it on rolls down the aisle that has all the trims like lace, sequins, rope, fringing, etc.), bias binding (either store bought or made by cutting a length of fabric, folding down the edges and then folding in the middle) or ribbon. Make sure to pre-wash everything so that when you wash it later on, it won't shrink on you. Buntings can be used for parties as well as to decorate walls, windows, doorways or you can even hang it from the ceiling. They are a really cheap and easy way to jazz up a room- a great alternative if you are not allowed to paint. Everything I used for this project, I already had at home so I didn't spend anything. But, if you don't have the materials, all you will need is about half a metre of your fabric of choice, the material you would like to string it all together and the usual- thread, scissors, sewing machine (or sew by hand if you prefer) and pins. The template I use is just one that I drew up myself, you can do your's any length or width you like :) As always, I hope you enjoy this DIY project and if you have any requests, please leave them in a comment. If you would like to see more DIY videos, please be sure to subscribe as I post at least 1 per week and I have a lot of ideas for upcoming videos!
