Watch as Better Homes and Gardens shows you 4th of July decorations like these easy centerpiece ideas! Wow guests at your Independence Day bash with these super easy 4th of July decorations made out of, can you believe it, toothpicks. All you'll need to create these easy DIY projects is an extruded 10-inch wreath form, double stick tape, approximately 300 flag party picks, coordinating crepe paper streamers, and a 5 1/2-inch glass hurricane that's approximately 8 inches tall. To get started on these 4th of July crafts, cover the wreath form completely with the crepe paper, starting from one end and working your way around the wreath. When it's covered, secure it with some double stick tape. To give these 4th of July decorations their wow factor, begin applying the picks to the wreath. Place one on the outside of the wreath, one on top of it, and one on the inner section. Work your way around the wreath to fill in all the open spaces, but don't worry about them all facing the same way. You'll want them going in all sorts of directions to look as though the flags are blowing in the wind. Once all the tooth picks are inserted and the wreath looks full, place the glass hurricane in the center of the wreath, and it's ready to go. With these 4th of July crafts gracing your table, it'll be easy to salute the red, white, and blue!
