These sweet alternatives to the real thing are great Mother's Day crafts for kids that are sure to brighten up Mom's special day. Get started on these arts and crafts by gathering cardstock, scrapbook paper, buttons, floral wire, ribbon, and a spool. Cut out a 3/4-inch circle out of the cardstock and poke a hole in the center of it. Cut a 1-1/2-inch heart out of the same colored cardstock paper, then trace five more hearts of the same size onto the patterned scrapbook paper. Cut these hearts out of the scrapbook paper for these Mother's Day gift ideas and fold them in half. Glue the "petals" symmetrically around the circle you have already cut out. Thread a piece of floral wire through a button, then push the wire through the circle to form the stem. Make a vase for these easy crafts for kids by wrapping a piece of ribbon around a spool, then placing the stems in the spool. These Mother's Day ideas are perfect for decorating throughout the entire spring season too!
